Dear Sarah:

I want to personally thank you for re-energizing the Republican Party. I want to thank your family for their support of you. You have a remarkable husband and children. Your family is one that America can be proud of. You and your family managed this national platform with dignity; even through the difficult issues in the press and on the campaign trail. Your story is remarkable.

I am a Texas resident and would have voted for John McCain for President because I am deeply committed to conservative issues.

You returned my pride in the Republican Party. My excitement to be a part of the political process has been rekindled. Your addition to the ticket moved me to donate money to the campaign, place a yard sign in my yard, wear buttons & scarves, talk to friends about politics and finally place a bumper sticker on my car; which I have never done before. You have a “Ronald Reagan” charisma that our Republican Party desperately needs again. You make me proud to be a Republican!

Your special place in our history is one that I am proud to have witnessed.

Best wishes and I hopefully will witness you in our political arena in years to come!
