The Evolution of Management Styles: Ted Arps and Jan VanBlarcum
Edward T. Arps studied Hotel Management at Cornell University. He took his first management job when he was twenty-two years old as the General Manager at the Harvey Hotel in Amarillo, TX. At the time he became General Manager, the hotel was bankrupt. Not only was its performance poor, but the hotel lacked basic supplies such as linen and silverware. Basically, the senior level managers hired Ted to save the hotel.

I am proud of our Creative Tutors franchise owners!

I am returning from a quick get away with my daughters. We went to Wyoming. Spending time away with my daughters always helps me clear my mind. When clearing my mind it helps me to draw attention to some of the important aspect of my world. Which brings to mind how much I enjoy my franchise owners and how proud I am of each of them. I try not to hover like a parent over young children....but I can't help but feel a similar feeling of the proud parent when thinking of our Creative Tutors franchisees! I will try to explain....
