PROTECTING JOBS AND LOWERING TAXES
Instead of raising taxes on all Americans in the midst of a recession, Republicans seek to create jobs, unlock private capital, and ensure that no family or small business experiences a tax hike.
LIMITING THE FEDERAL BUDGET FROM GROWING FASTER THAN FAMILY BUDGETS
Instead of recklessly borrowing and spending money on wasteful programs under the guise of "stimulus," Republicans seek to ensure that the federal budget cannot grow faster than American families' ability to pay the bill.

Today, Russia already rears its’ ugly head and is challenging the USA!
Challenging President-Elect Obama less than 24 hours after his victory.
The new direction for America has been cast and was cast by our votes.
Everyone’s voice was heard and has become one.
It will take all of us to move forward as one.
All of us need to stay committed to the electoral process and staying vigilant to the issues.

Satire.
That's how Ralph Nader closed his third-party presidential campaign today at a small press conference in Washington D.C.'s National Press Club. He instructed reporters that he would only give one-word answers to all questions posed -- in a sarcastic nod to the sound-bite nature of election coverage.
The stilted question-and-answer session felt at times like a bad game of "Jeopardy." Reporters played along with little protest and reached for questions that led to one-word answers. Many even started asking one-word questions, though that wasn't in the rules.
No One In Line To Vote This Morning
My husband went to vote this morning. The polls opened at 7:00 AM and he was eagerly expecting to wait in line and enjoy the spirit of the process.
To great disappointment....there was NO ONE IN LINE! He cast his vote in 30 seconds.... did not see another person other than the poll workers....
Early Voting .... ??? Wow what an impact.
Election Day and our Family
Tomorrow will be Election Day.
As you know I voted early.
Tomorrow my husband will vote.
He has blocked out time on his calendar from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM to go and VOTE! We expect long lines or no lines.... but he is blocking time to cover either way...
Tomorrow my daughters will bake a Patriotic Cake..red/white/blue
We are also going to have for dinner; hamburgers and hotdogs…all American…..day at our home. We will decorate house....red/white/blue.
We feel strongly that we teach our kids about the privilege of freedom…. With that privilege… will come responsibility.
Our kids will have a blank map and as the news announces which states go red and blue they will mark the map; color in the state blue or red; tally the Electoral College votes….
Go out and learn about the issues and how those issues affect our country and its future.
Go out on Tuesday … vote responsibly…. Vote Republican if you share my views!
