The Evolution of Management Styles: Ted Arps and Jan VanBlarcum
Edward T. Arps studied Hotel Management at Cornell University. He took his first management job when he was twenty-two years old as the General Manager at the Harvey Hotel in Amarillo, TX. At the time he became General Manager, the hotel was bankrupt. Not only was its performance poor, but the hotel lacked basic supplies such as linen and silverware. Basically, the senior level managers hired Ted to save the hotel.

For me, 2011 is all about getting back to the healthy way of life and staying that way.

Most of you know that I am the founder of Creative Tutors and a child of an Army Veteran. My husband Bill is also a part of the armed forces and is a Reservist Navy Captain in the JAG Core.

Military Veterans are twice as likely to operate their own business as non veterans are, according to census data. In fact, one in seven businesses is owned by a military veteran.

A tool for building more productive relationships in their pocket. A quick note about the IFA conference. This is the first year to use the belinker as a tool to help manage the data and contact information gathered from vendors, speakers and other attendees and saved onto this cool device. The belinker has been an excellent tool to use. Easy to! I look forward to using it again at future conferences.

Wish we could all use belinker year round as we go through our lives... it could be a cool tool to help connect us to one another with ease...as we go through our day to day activities... maybe I should suggest this to the BeLinker organization? Just joking... but wow it could make life easy!
